In 1924 Mr. Winterhalter from St. Gallen founded his zipper manufacturing company with facilities in Germany and other European countries. He named the company, focusing on the manufacture of zippers, Riri.
The company especially stands for the continuous adaption to changing environmental circumstances. For example was nickel banned because of several reasons regarding human health and ecological aspects.
Riri further sets high focus on production standards and protects the rights of its employees working in the different production facilities. Meanwhile the headquarters of Riri is located in Mendrisio, where zippers are also manufactured and exported worldwide.
